I collected the seed of this Canna in Madeira a couple of years ago. I think it may be indica and it is not one of the hybrids as far as I know. Anyone got any thoughts ?
with all respect for ElTel's question, I picked some seeds from a very similar plant (small flower, large green leaves) in a hotel's garden, only the flowers were deep red. Is there such a variety of canna?

Canna indica comes in red and orange. I have bought tubers which are supposed to be indica but weren't. I have collected seeds from both colours growing wild in South Africa.
