Really good day for market.
"Grand Opening" was the theme for this market. Also the local paper did an article in Friday's paper. We were overwelmed with customers. Some vendors were out of product by 10 AM.
We sold lots of flowers again. People are still planting & filling in. Sold a bunch of baskets, we discounted to $8.
We had a few green beans, along with potatoes, 3 types of peas, carrots, tomatoes, strawberries, broccoli, kohlrabi, lettuce, green onions, radish, & turnips.
Next week our greenhouse cukes & cabbage should be ready.
First gladiolus opened, so might be enough to take next week.
Getting to be fun time of year.
I hired the lady that we built the "garden" shed for to help on weekdays. She is great! She is a former Antique shop owner. She has a great repore with the customers.
Adding: Picture is before opening bell, my wife waiting to take that first $, LOL.
Happy marketing!
Bernie
