Hi, I am starting a project in where I will be restoring a garden from the 1800's and would like some suggestions in what kind of plants to have there. I have read the thread on 'MG's Project' got some great suggestions from it as far as vegetables go. However, the families that lived there were well off and I would like to know what kind of flowers they may have grown. Also, maybe what kind of herbs they may have grown. Any ideas would be great.
