On Saturday last Pam brought several of our horses that you've met in past posts to a breed inspection/approval show. She brought five horses. Danika, her mommie Rosy Future, Econda, Tourraine, and Out of the Clouds (Cloudia). These are the real Oldenburgers from Germany.

Rosy took the highest mare score of all horses seen at the inspection and her filly Danika received 'Premium' foal status.

Econda got second highest mare score after a tie-breaker with Rosy...lol. Econda was pissed...lol.

Tourraine received the third highest mare score.

Cloudia was accepted into the Oldenburger breed (she's a thoroughbred and it's very difficult for them to be let in).

Rosy is now a Hanoverian Elite candidate mare and an Oldenburg Champion mare

Econda is a State Premium Hanoverian and a reserve champion Oldenburg mare.

Touraine is a Dutch Warmblood and now also an Oldenburg.

When sherman marched through Georgia he did less damage...lol. My wife, of whom I am very proud, strolled in, in her unassuming way and walked out with ALL of the hardware. It was a blitzkreig...lol. Pam has been walking on air for the last 36 hours but Econda still thinks she was robbed...lol.

The odd part about this is that our Sele Francais mare Napa Red, who is the daughter of 04 Olympic and 3 time world show-jumping champion Balubet duRouet freaked out in the trailer in the wee hours of the morning and couldn't go to the show after injuring herself (minor). So the "big gun" didn't even get seen. After a rather mixed breeding season with two mares aborting (Including the stillborn twins Econda delivered) it was a wonderful cap to the year that Pam literally stole the show. 43 horses were seen by the inspection team from Germany and all of the top scores came out of this ranch.

It turns out that Danika likes to go to parties, she showed of like a show pro at 3 months old. It was hilarious.

a pic of Pam with Napa...the kookoo that didn't go.
    hope all are well,
    don
