Saturday started out a little chilly, 35º or so. Sun came up, warmed nicely.
Tomatoes sold like crazy. All garden tomatoes are no more. A couple people tried selling some, but they were green & not going to ripen.
We planted some cauliflower a while back, it is beautiful. We sold out at $2.50 & $2.00 per head.
Lots of broccoli again, sold out. Our little homemade cooler is a treasure. We still had bell & hot peppers. Only ones on the lot, sold a bunch. This is the latest we have had fresh veggies at our market.
Radio said today that Nov. 7 was the latest first frost for Minneapolis-St. Paul area. It hasn't froze there yet. We have had a frost this week, but it was not the killing frost. Some tender annuals froze, but that is all. We are about a month or more past average first frost.
