Dont forget, sign-up for prescription drug coverage starts on the 15th of this month. You will have six months to sign up. After that time period, if you sign up it will cost you more. For those that dont already have drug coverage, or think that they dont need it, please consider getting on board. Each state is a little different, and most counties have a choice of one or more companies to use. For example, in my county, seniors can choose between Humana, First Health, and Wellcare. Wellcare is an Hmo, the other two are not. Most have yearly deductables and then they pay at about 75%. Each plan is a little different. If you are not on many meds now, think of the future. Some of thos4e drugs are outrageous.
It is a little complicated figuring out which does what and chossing. Most counties and states have some type of assistance to help you decide which plan you want. Those on medicare, you should have already recieved information in the mail about signing up. If you have not, you can also go online to medicare.gov and get information as well as sign up.
