I borrowed a friends roaster for T day. The roaster is old but the cord looks new-ish. Not cloth and no tape or worn spots or loosed plugs. I turned the roaster on and 1/2 hr later I touched the plug (stuck into the wall outlet) and it was very very warm. It did not smell or spark but I immediately unplugged it. What caused this? If I had waited much longer I am not sure I could have touched the plug to unplug!!
