Hello Folks.

Its almost time to sow seeds.
I wanted to sow them now but, if the almanac is correct on the best production and blossom sow dates, then should I go by that.
Anyway. This is my first year Sowing my own bedding plant seeds. I have no seeding machines to help make things go quicker and easier. I have to do them all by hand and sowing them into seed plug flats so transplanting is quicker and have more healthy seedlings. No root damage either. I have my work cut out for me. I am a one person business. No employees.
I just bought my first MODINE heater. I am excited. Along with 400 gallons of propane. We are hooking it up this week. And gosh---all bought with a credit card and I only hope it pays for itself real soon cause i really hate credit cards---interest. It will kill you financially.

So---I am sowing my double blooming petunia seeds Jan 14-15. According to the almanac.
I was goin to sow them xmas night but had stomach virus. Yuck.
I have the Grandiflora- Double Orchid Mist Mix , and the Double Purple Pirouette. All for hanging baskets only. Then I have the Supercascade Petunias for bedding flats and baskets. QUESTION. How many do yall put per basket. I have been putting 6 seedlings per basket in the past years. Just comparing.
I only bought 7,000 petunia seeds for this season. They are a good seller -- hope i dont grow too many or too less.
I will also sow my greenhouse tomatoes Jan 14. I will never grow the Trust tomato again. My husband does not like the taste of them. So here I sit with 500 Trust greenhouse tomato seeds and a large waste of money. costed me $150. ugggggg. They taste ok to me. Not as good as BIG BEEF.
Maybe i could sell some of the seeds in small quantities so i dont have such a large waste of money. OR TRADE.

guess I will get back to scheduleing my seed sow dates for the heat pads.
later folks
