As your potted plants get larger they need larger saucers under them. Fancy pots usually come with one, or you can pay big bucks for one.
I have found that the bottom of cheap plastic laundry baskets work great. A new basket costs about a buck, use it until it breaks then cut the bottom out.
Voilą, a pan to hold a very large pot.
