    This is one of my few rebloomers. It needs a pillar or a fence to keep it off the ground. The roses are quite cupped and lightly fragrant.

    It certainly looks like La Reine Victoria - is it quite a slender bush (probably is since you need to prop it up) and are the leaves a soft green colour? It doesn't have much of a scent and is perpetual flowering. It dates back to 1872.

    Yes, i really think this is her! Large thorns that start off red, I believe, but not so many as most of the others. Want me to start you a cutting?
