I have a little tiny banty that is a strawberry blonde. She's the tiniest one in
the coop. My grandmother was tiny, 4'10" tall, and had beautiful strawberry
blonde hair. Her name was Clementine. So we call this little banty none
    other than...Clemen-tiny.

Yup. "Walter Pigeon" came to me as an injured & exhausted Homing Pigeon that apparently lost it's way & crash-landed in our yard. I had him for quite a few years as a pet.

We have an Ameraucana hen named Pete. She is the rooster's (aka The Red Baron) favorite girl. They stroll everywhere together.

If you are sorry, why did you post it? I do not care for such "humor," personally.

Oh, heavens, then I really am sorry. I didn't think it was offensive, just silly, hence the first "sorry." Didn't mean to offend; won't do it again.

Some names just do seem to go with certain critters. We had a Columbia ram named Christopher, and the neighbors had a Lincoln sheep named Abraham. A tiny red banty hen was named the Little Red Hen, and we had a rooster named Brewster. Gregory Peck, wonderful name.

I saw a post of someone who named all their roosters "Food".
She said that she called them that from the time they were little, thus making it a little easier come butchering time. What a smart idea.

I can see it now... "Here Food-Food, Here Foodie Foodie Foodie
as she goes out to feed.

    Cute.

I went to visit a friend in Florida and we had "Charlie ribs" for dinner I thought it was her recipe until the next morning when we had "Charlie bacon" and "Charlie ham" for breakfast. Slow learner here. After breakfast we went out to meet George the steer. "Food" is a better name. LOL

I always buried my chickens when they die. LOL A real country girl here.
