I tried a search for this but must have not used the correct words...

I am NOT a market grower...but I would like to have a sort of plant "yard sale" with my extra bedding plants. What is the most economical way to pot the seedling for those of us who are not commercial..therefore dont want to order alot of stuff as we wont be claiming anything as a business expense ? Any ideas...

Is it better to mix together your own seed starting mix rather than buying the bags a Walmart. They dont go very far.

thanks
charlotte
