| Well I'm finally going to toss our smooshed and flat bed pillows! Have you ever noticed that important things such as sheets, pillows, towels etc get used to death and it's almost tramatic to get rid of them? My DH has been sleeping terrible for months due to his flat as a board pillow and yet we haven't taken the time to buy new ones. I have towels that I know I snitched from my Mom when I moved out of the house to go to college in the mid 80's...course they may look more like hand towels now but...Why is it that something so important to your sleep and health gets put off so long?
Ok here are the pillows I ordered...I hope they are as nice as they sound.
These set of 4 Circle Down pillows are each constructed with a pillow-in-a-pillow design for added support and maximum comfort.
Set includes four pillows
Features a core of resilient feathers surrounded by luxurious 525 fill power down
The feathers and down are hypo-allergenic--perfect for those who suffer allergies
Exterior woven from 100-percent cotton
Dimensions and fill:
Standard: 20 x 26 inches (28 oz. fill)
Queen: 20 x 30 inches (32 oz. fill)
Don't know much about fill count so I hope 525 is ok.

| hahaha I asked for new pillows for Christmas!!! There's just something wrong when we have 7 pillows between the two of us and have started competing for them. |

| I know the feeling, we have 5 pillows on the bed and still can't get comfy. I can't wait to get these and see how they hold up, we spent 50.00 bucks each on the two main pillows we have now and they went flat as a board within a year. |

| Oh...I'd be pretty ticked if that were me!
My sister got me 4 pillows- they're all different, but they all say they're down alternative pillows (for allergies). Maybe I'll stuff them inside each other to get the same effect as your new pillows!! hahaha |

| It is funny how we will put off stuff in our bedroom. It seems to always
be the last room to consider when redecorating, linens, etc.
Suppose it's like "comfort food", the old and familiar just seems to feel good to us to the point that we forget to notice it's worn out ? I think that's me, I just get comfortable with my stuff. |

| I agree, I've been needing nightstands forever but keep putting it off in order to get things for other parts of the house. Crazy really since my bedroom is "my" room and I spend tons of time reading, watching movies etc. |

| I can sure relate to this. LOL A couple of years ago the DH and I received some money for Christmas and we decided to buy an extravagant set of sheets with it since they were on sale. They were regularly over $100, but never even knew there was *such* a thing until we started looking at sheets. We got them half price plus had a cupon. I think they're 240 thread count or something like that, but I'll never use anything else. I'll just buy them on sale. They are certainly worth it. :) When we redid the inside of our home a few years back, our bedroom didn't make it on the list. Now I can't get the comforter and curtains I want because I put it off. :-( |

| Araness - I just ordered that exact same pillow from Overstock this past week. Just ordered one so I could "test" it out to see if I'd want more (I'm a 2-pillow gal). I just received an e-mail that it's been shipped, so it should be here soon.
We'll have to compare notes - lol!! |

| lol I get mine today (if the FedEx site isn't fibbing) and can't wait. I looked online at several pillows and thought for the price and what you get I'd try these. Hope they are as comfy as they look, if so I'll order another couple of sets and toss all the older pillows in the house.
You do know that it's a set of 4 correct? |

| Mine just arrived!!! Haven't unpacked it yet. Will do in a minute.
Four? Really? Boy - shows you how well I read for comprehension. I thought I was just ordering one single pillow. The box is pretty small to be holding 4 pillows - unless they're squashed into one of those vacuum Space Bags. |

| Okay - I was correct. I did just order "one" single of these pillows, which is what I wanted to order. Have it on the bed right now & just sunk my pointy little head into it. It seems quite nice. Soft & squooshy, yet supportive.
Obviously I'll have a better idea of its comfort level after a full night's sleep on it. To be continued, lol. . . |

| Ooh forgot about this thread!! Yes Araness - what do you think?
I have to admit that after sleeping on mine since it's arrival, I'm rather disappointed. It flattens rather quickly - to the point where I can actually feel my hand through it if I slide it underneath. In fact, just like with my old pillow, I find myself having to scrunch/fold it to sleep comfortably. For $29.99 I didn't expect the world, but did expect a little better.
I'll keep it, but will use it as my "underneath" 2nd pillow as soon as I'm able to find/buy a better pillow to play top dog. No more buying pillows sight unseen for me - I'll be perusing Bed, Bath, & Beyond the next time I'm in that area. |

| What shame!
You would expect it to be good for that much money.
I have switched to big fluffy feather pillows. You can punch them and fluff them up and then sink right in.
The only problem is that the feathers seem to work themselves out through the casing.

| Luckily I haven't had a problem with THAT yet.
This pillow is purported to have a center core of down surrounded by a thick layer of feathers. Go figure. |

| What brand is yours? We love ours...it's squishy enough to mold and form like you'd like but it fluffs back up with a few wacks and pats. Not thin at all...I've also put them in a pillowcase cover to try and stop any escaping (sp) feathers. |

| I don't see a "brand name" on the pillow, but it was the one on Overstock advertised as a "Circle Down Pillow", having a down core & feathers outside. Had the same pic as the one you showed above.
Pillows are such a personal thing tho, we just might have different tastes. Think of the bazillion different types of pillows there are out there. LIke I said, I think this one will work better as a bottom pillow. I think I need something higher & firmer for my top pillow. |

| The only pillow I like is a foam pillow. They are around $35, I think, but worth it to me. It will say foam rubber. Love em! LOL
