As tele-filing IRS taxes isn't available anymore I went e-file.
IRS gives you a list of available companies to use.
I just got done e-filing my taxes w/ Turbo Tax.
(I'm not pushing them, it was just the only free service I recognized, so I picked them)
As I got ready to send...I was informed of a Bonus situation.
Seems you can buy gift cards w/ your refund at a discount.
For example Lowe's cards cost $90.00 for a $100.00 card.
So you save 10%.
As our refund basically was going there anyway (lol) it seems a great deal.
There is a $14.95 FedEx charge though. So get a big card.
We got a $1000.00 card for $914.95.
So 85 dollars in free stuff at Lowe's.
They had about a dozen different companies w/ promotions.
If you qualify...Turbo Tax IRS tax service is free, State e-file is NOT.
It was free directly thru our State here though.
