It very much appears to me that eating food-grade flax oil well-mixed with cottage cheese daily is an excellent cancer fighter and preventative. There is significant anecdotal evidence that Dr. Johanna Budwig, who died not long ago, had great success in curing many people of cancer using such a mixture.

The lymphoma tumor in my jaw has decreased to half its size since October of 2005, and I have been taking flax oil and cottage cheese daily. I have also been taking and doing about a dozen other things, but I believe the flax oil/cottage cheese has had a lot to do with the shrinkage.

A couple years ago, my wife and I were at Sam's Club, and there was a slick, well-spoken feller there demonstrating the latest version of the Vita-Mix machine. We ended up buying one, and, strangely enough, we have never regretted it! :+))

Here is my recipe for making a flax oil/cottage cheese smoothie:

Put in Vita-Mix container:

Three heaping tablepoons plain yoghurt(home made, if possible---my wife makes ours from fresh goat's milk)
1/4 cup cottage cheese(organic, if possible)
1/4 cup flax oil (Barlean's company sells some of the best and freshest flax oil)
1/4 cup fresh or frozen red raspberries
1/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1 banana
1 tablespoon raw honey
handful of raw pecans
handful of raw almonds
1 raw carrot

Add enough pure water to cover ingredients.

Put cover on container and blend, starting on low setting and increasing to highest setting.

Blend till all ingredients are liquified---about a minute or two.

Makes about a quart.

Just one of the best things about the Vita-Mix is that it is so powerful, it pulverizes raspberry seeds and other tiny seeds, and it grinds nuts so fine, you can add them to a smoothie, and they do not "catch" in your throat. To be able to pulverize raspberry seeds is an excellent thing, because most of the ellagic acid in raspberries is in the seeds. Ellagic acid is a powerful cancer fighter. With regard to nuts, the finer you can grind them, the better you digest them and the more nourishing they are!

We also got a container for grinding wheat with the Vita-Mix, and my wife regularly makes fresh whole wheat flour with it.

Another thing, just one of a great many one can do with the Vita-Mix is to make fresh water melon juice in the summer, when water melon is at its cheapest. You can put whole slices of the melon, rind, seeds and all, in the Vita-Mix, and it will liquefy all of it into a wonderful, healthful, refreshing drink! You have to drink the water melon juice right away, though, because if it sits around for even a short period of time, it loses its flavor. I guess that's why you never see water melon juice being sold in stores.
