Am I alone when I say that I sometime feel like I'm in a contest called "The one who dies with the most yarn wins" lol

jdee, you're not alone! My collection of unused yarn is increasing :) After 10 years of my needles sitting idle, I picked them up again last November and it won't be long before I'll be looking for projects to use "leftovers".

It's really funny. If I keep this up, I'll need a big trunk.

I had just gotten back from Sherman, Tx, which is where the closest Hobby Lobby is. They had a half price sale on all of thier crochet and knitting impements, and they also had the Red Heart Super Saver yarn for $1.88. I just wanted to get some of everything, but had to remind myself of the tons of yarn I already have. It almost killed me, but I left with none. *sniff* I did, however get some knitting needles, and a beginner book.

Maybe that is why our grandmothers always had those Granny squares in all shades of the rainbow.

I love Hobby Lobby too. I have many interest from painting, cross-stitch, a little knitting, ect.
