California Barrel Cactus, Compass Barrel Cactus Ferocactus cylindraceus
These barrels are all F. cylindraceus ssp cylindraceus from the same acre of wild land, during a rescue salvage. Notice the variation in color, some with yellowish spines which used to be called Ferocactus acanthodes.
