I have wild lillies that are growing along my driveway and have no idea what they are...perhaps someone can help identify them. They are orange and look like an asiatic or oriental lilly in terms of bloom. They are pure orange with no freckles or ridges and form black bulbils along the stems. The flowers are open in aspect and about 4" across with multiple blooms that are upward facing. They do not look like tiger lillies and they are not daylillies...any ideas? They haven't bloomed yet this year but when they do I will post a pic.

Take a look at my journal under the asiatic bulbs and look at the one called Hup Holland. Sounds similar to what you describe.
