I finally bought this and had to use it today. I wanted it for work since I'm forever spilling something down the front of me. Then I feel like I put on a dirty shirt for work. I got coffee on my shirt this morning and the Tide To Go took it out in minutes. |

I'll have to buy some. I always spill something on myself. My DH calls my front the shelf because it's always got something on it. And I'm not alone, my sister and cousins consider it the family curse. We've always got something spilled on it. I've seen the ads and it's great to hear that it really does work.

I just bought Tide to Go and love it. I have used it a couple times on tomato stains and it really done a good job. |

I am always spilling food on me. I can be nowhere near food and I will find a fresh stain on my shirt. I am so bad that I rarely wear white shirts cause they don't last a day without me staining them! |

Will Tide to Go work on colors OR whites? I have a few baby outfits I bought used and need something for spots on a couple...if Tide to Go won't work PLEASE make a suggestion!
Thanks. |

It's supposed to be safe on colors and work on whites too (although regular bleach might be a better bet if you have something that's all white). As to whether it'll work or not, if the stains are old and set in then it might not work--I've had better luck with it on fresher stains. |

Do you know what the stain is? I'm not a stain removal expert (I don't have kids, so I only have to worry about my own stains, and I usually catch them before they set!), but if you know what the stain was then you might be able to search on the net and find some recommendations. If the clothes are white, bleach is probably your best bet and it'll get out a wide variety of stains. If they're colors and you don't know what the stain was, I would try a couple of the various spot/stain removers (Shout, Spray n Wash, etc) and see if any of them work, or you could try washing them with one of the bleaches for colors like Oxy Clean or Clorox 2. But if they're really set in there sometimes nothing will really get them out (but I'm sure the baby will make some new stains on them, so soon you won't even notice the old ones!) |

ecrane:
never had kids either so can't determine the stains but am sure it's a mix of everything! and I love bleach for whites but mostly it's spots on some multi-colored clothes.
Fortunately I stay pretty neat so I never even have to use stain remover! I wouldn't know where to begin! But being a mom soon guess I'll be learning. =) |

Well, I would at least try the Tide to Go if you already have one and see what it does, but if that doesn't work I probably wouldn't bother trying to get rid of the stains unless it's a dressy outfit for special occasions, the baby will make new ones anyway and I'm sure you'll be so busy with other things you won't want to worry about trying to get out all the stains! |

DH found something SOOOO cool today. It is specifically for baby food, juice, milk, stains...and is called Baby Oxi or something like that in a pink tub. I will try that and see if it helps. |

I am a believer in Tide to Go... My college age daughter turned me on to it... Its small enough for the purse, and gentle enough on all the fabrics I've tried so far.. Keep the old fingers crossed. |

ecrane: If the stains on the baby clothes are formula stains, you should try Dreft or a baby detergent such as that. It is made for getting out formula and baby foods and such and gentle enough for baby skin. |
