I would like to sell some bedding plants this year at my vegetable stand and I need your help.

Impatiens, Panzies, Coleous, come to mind, and I've started Ramblin Petunia's for haning baskets.

I don't have a seed house, I don't have a GH. I've started everything inside the house in the living room, the spare bedroom, and down a long hall under lights.

I have a little money to spend on bedding plants that are going to come from a place called, "Jolly Farmer". [HYPERLINK@www.jollyfarmer.com] and I'll get some other things locally from a fellow that grows bedding plants. One day soon, I hope to start my own things in a GH.

The problem is, I don't know what to buy for the market.

I've taken everyones advice about, "take it slow at first", and that's why I don't have a seed house or a greenhouse. I'm thinking I should buy a little and sell what I can. The money I make goes back into the market for the next year ahead. I don't keep any of it for myself.

So, what ever I get now for the market, has to be something that people want. I don't know the names of a lot of them. I know what I like to see and I know what I see in peoples yards, but I don't know what to ask for when it comes to buying them.

I have some vegetable bedding plants I'm going to start from seed when the time is right. 9 kinds of tomatoes, bell peppers, salsa peppers, sweet peppers, cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, and melons.

What I'd like to do is buy a few flats, sell them, take the money and buy more. Keep doing that untill my vegetables mature and are put out for sale. I would really like to make enough money to get myself a GH this fall and use it for next year. It's a jungle in here. :)

What are you selling? What do you think would be a good investment when it comes to getting bedding plants to sell at the stand and at the Farmers Market? Oh, I forgot, I am growing Glads too.
