I'd like to build a container from brick for the front of my building. It would be 5 or 6 feet long by 2 feet wide.
I've never done anything remotely like this.
Is this even close to a do-it-yourself project?

Here's a link from HGTV that gives directions for making a brick barbeque, but I think you could easily modify them to do your container instead. I don't have any personal experience with brick, but I have heard that it can be a little tricky, so if you don't have a lot of experience with DIY stuff then maybe practice making something small first to get the hang of it. But the fact that HGTV gives directions for making something with brick implies that it can be a DIY project.
