I'd like to introduce Dexter. He was wandering around the nursery at the local Co-op and heard me talking to a friend about all the St Francis statues I have and all my bird feeders. It seems Dexter is more into bird feeding and wildlife care than gardening and he jumped into my car to check out my yard. Unfortunately, it is raining, so the whole yard tour is on hold, but he likes what he can see from the window. When (IF) it stops raining, he and I will do some looking around and let him find a comfortable place to set up his housekeeping. My other gnomes, Johann, Johanna and Dody are all tucked away out of the rain so they will meet Dexter later. If Dexter decides to build his house in the "chicken yard" (my bird feeding station), then he will be right across the driveway from them and it should make for good neighbors.
