I just don't know what forum to put this in so here goes:
Someone gave the hub's 7- 36x60 inch(my guesstimate)windows they had in a sunroom they demo'ed from their house. They had the sunroom/porch on the south side of their house so they put a film over the glass. The new addition on our house faces north and I'm trying to removed the film. While most of it came off,I have big sections on some that have defied re-moving. I've tried scraping with razor ...dry...then tried scraping after spray with window cleaner after it soaked a few minutes and I'm just not getting anywhere. Is there something that will make this darn stuff let go or am I just stuck with good ole elbow grease?
Try your scraper again while holding a blow dryer really close and heating it up first. Keep the hot air going in one hand while you scrape with the other - hope this works for you !
