Here is a picture of a view into the kitchen of 1952 ranch/cape. Cabinets are a cream, floor a terracotta tile interjected with blue/yellow design diamond dots. I have been confused about what to choose for wall color. There are 2 end walls (one visible in pic) and then opposite the kitchen end there is a knotty pine solid wood paneled wall. I am open to paint the wood but should it be the same or different, should I go muted or punch it up? In the past I have thought something in the saffron family. Our style tends toward modern/eccelctic. We have pine trim, unpainted as are the windows for now, they need to be replaced. Any ideas?
Love all you decorating types out there with ideas!
