My Jacob's Cattle were harvested today. From sowing to harvest took 76 days.
Since I have a 180 day growing season, I'd like to grow another generation of these. If I sow these this week, I can harvest them several weeks ahead of my first killing frost.
But, the beans that I have harvested are not 100% dry yet. The pods have cracked open, but the beans are still just a little dry (they will not shatter when hit by a hammer). If I sow these fresh beans, will they germinate? Or, will I have to wait until they are completely dry and hard as a rock before sowing?
