we have always pulled this as a weed, but it's just so pretty. Do you know what it is???

These are a natural wildflower of GA.. Here is some info..The woods on the road to my house is full of them right now.. They are so pretty.

but they aren't invasive. We've had them forever, but never let them grow. With all the rain we've had, they've done great!

Jim, I have you one in a pot. I'm going to see if I can get a bigger one today. Look in the photo forum, it's so lovely. I'm a very proud mama:)

I'll save you some seeds, I'm not really sure how this will travel in this heat, it's a very thin vine. will that be okay??

MsMunchken, I have the BLUE one (the Clitoria ternata) and it doesn't vine for me, exactly, and it's a distinctly different color from the pic that tiG has posted (the Vaccinium corymbosum). I've seen THAT one growing wild when I was in Gulf Shores a couple of years ago (sans seedpods, alas!)and it does vine. I hope to have lots of seeds of the C. ternata this fall, if anyone wants some. There's also a white version of this, and a double version, but I don't have them. If anybody finds some, let me know.
