Hey I'm here watching you, copy the link from "my info" for your diary. That is the 'outside 'way in - which is what you need for others to see.
I started to look at yours, love the Torch Lily - doesn't quite make it thru the winters here.

to copy any link/page site, you right click on the address on top of your screen and select 'copy' from the options, then you go to the spot you want to insert that link ,and then right click 'paste'

Hi, Corgi - I'm over here to answer you since we're having such a nice get together - I'm a gal, not a guy - but I really like that you can get on this site and everyone is basically just a gardener. Also, I've looked at your site more closely and just LOVE the cottage garden. So lovely and peaceful - and beautiful. Now I know that someday I will just have to put one of those together. Thanks for all your understanding -

Corgimom, what a beautiful English style garden. I lived in England for a year and now am home and trying to do a small area in front of the house to remind me of England. I never saw so many beautiful gardens; they have perfect weather for them with frequent showers and not usually extreme temps.
But you have defintely inspired me to get moving and I can't wait to see your new pictures this spring/summer.

Wow! I'm so jealous! You live in Mississippi, right? Beautiful daylilies and your new pics of the perennials are gorgeous - my daylilies are about 2 inches tall right now, and the clematic, etc. are just buds. I think we're about month and a half behind you here in Iowa. Please add some pics of your full gardens too, since I love those also - gee - we'll have you so busy sending us pics that you won't have time to garden - nahhhh - that couldn't happen - Talk to you again soon - Dax

Pretty garden, Libby. It's nice to see how it was created from bare ground to its present state. Those hyperlinks gave me a hard time, too. Maggiemoo's linked to my diary, and then I had the link going to the diary from my end, not from the public end.

Fireant ( can't say that I love your username as I have to deal with those buggers all the time !) , Hi there ! I still get mixed up when trying to tell someone how to get to my diary.Bigcityal worked with me when I first joined and I think he pulled more than a handful of hair. Of course, my DH has NO HAIR after 32 years of marriage, so that should tell you something!!

I am still adding new pics as spring continues. Can't wait for daylilies to really kick in ! I just got through my little poppy bed ( boy I wish I had more than 2 colors !) when the rain hit this week. Now I have to wait for the daylilies.

Hi Dax. In my family anything is a word ! Boy can we make up some good ones too (or poor ones, depending on who you ask).
Yep, love those foxgloves. One of my white ones has almost maroon spots inside and so it is a little showier. Planted it late so its height is stunted, though. Gotta picture of it coming soon I hope.
I put some spring pics under the "annuals/perennials" tab, too. Just didn't know how to move them from that tab to the "Spring 2006" tab after I decided to make it. I am SOOOO unorganized !

Foxgloves and iris outta love it up your way. I use to have such lovely iris - until I got dogs !!! By the time we got part of the yard fenced in for them they had destroyed most of them and pulled up the name tags that went with the few ones that were left.

Corgimom, I just toured you garden...WOW, fantastic cottage garden, so English with its central fountain and brick paths. I am still doing "dirt work" in our Ohio clay soil, trying to improve it. I only have a few things planted; hopefully I can take some pix soon. But it will be nothing to the scale of yours; but I guess we have to begin somewhere.

Hi, Libby. I just toured your garden. It's lovely. You put in a lot of work, and it shows. (And your DH also did a great job, with the hardscaping!) The very first link I clicked on was for your spiders, and they are simply fabulous.

I also like that galloping woodland phlox -- I hope it doesn't smother the daylilies; keep us posted -- the color and bloom strength look great.

Best,

Julia

Thank you Julia ! After looking at what others post I am reluctant to post photos of my yard. Mine can't compare. My weeds are embarrassing ! I do try to work at it all the time but my health prevents me from doing what needs to be done to make it look like it needs to.

Am I posting too many pictures? I enjoy doing it since I am so limited in what I can physically do, but I don't want to bore people. I know they are supposed to be for us, but if we are honest I think most of us do them to share them with others!

Glad to hear from you Julia.

my 3 favorites plants from your garden is dream candy, jamican music, and strawberry foxglove. did your foxglove have alot of seedlings this spring? my mom's foxglove seeded all over her garden.

No !!! Not one single seedling that I could find. Couldn't believe it ! What luck. Don't know if the seed just washed out into the lawn or what happened.

I went outside this morning and I looked down, WAY down, and there was a pretty daylily blooming ( my first pretty one for the season!) and it was- Andy Candy. Not as pretty as Dream Candy, but pretty !!! Naturally I had to run get my camera ! (Trouble is - I'm so pitiful I don't know how to download (upload -see I don't even know the word for it) the pictures from the camera to the computer. I have to wait for my DH to come do it for me . Could be days, could be weeks.)

Thanks, guys. You make me feel better about putting so many on there. It sure gives me pleasure. Being partially handicapped( neuropathy in hands and feet) I am limited as to what I can do so I love to take pictures of my flowers as long as I am able.

What an awesome garden!!! Seeing your garden makes me want to go out and rip up our garden and redo it. But I won't though cause it has taken several years and too many truck loads of dirt to get ours where it is. We have about 18 trees on less than an acre and I have a hard time finding plants that will thrive under all this shade. Keep up the good work and keep showing it off!
