Okay, the plants don't talk to you and honestly it is a nice break from my herd of daughters. I tend to think too much. I spent about six hours yesterday potting perennials from large plugs and bareroot. Today I thought I had a light load, potted up 50 ornamental grasses and got the pots ready for one hundred and something geraniums. Just after I came in for the day and hubby left, here comes the UPS man. 1500 cuttings that were supposed to be here on Monday but were delayed for the weather, well they showed up. I had to drag all my trays in the house (TG they were already filled!), plug the cuttings then take them all back out to the GH. That took me another 4 hours or so.
So...spending all this time alone, yesterday freezing in the rain, standing in puddles and today leaning over the kitchen table, I had two thoughts.
!) I do not have a green thumb. I have 10 brown dibbles!
2) I wish my fingers were square!
It made me laugh at myself. Do you guys ever have these bizarre thoughts?? LOL
