We've all got clutter, and when you look in that drawer you think "I should clean this up" but we never do.

I'm guessing people all over the world have such a drawer where they keep a bunch of stuff. I thought what better way to get a view of people from everywhere than to peek into their clutter drawer.

So I just started a spot for sharing the pictures at [HYPERLINK@globalclutter.blogspot.com]

So if you can send a pic, with your first name (or a nickname) and your city. It's great therapy to help you love your clutter drawer, and what your unique one says about you!

It would only take a minute if you have a digital camera - and you can check back occasionally you won't feel bad about not cleaning your clutter drawer out when you see all the other ones!

SEND pic to: rossgk (at) gmail.com

Substitute the "@" of course. Hope to peek into your drawers soon! ;-)

Ross.

I think I have "clutter drawer syndrome" - I've only been in my apartment about 2 1/2 years, and I have filled about 4 drawers. And that is not counting the clutter that hasn't made it into a drawer yet!

Clutter drawers WOW do I have them but most are organized clutter. I moved into a SMALL 515 square ft apt last Nov.
I am surprised at how easy it is to keep organized as I'm not an organized person. I do have quite a few clutter drawers. I have a whole chest of drawers for my putter STUFF. One of those drawers holds stuff a nite stand usually does like Medicine. All the other is is stuff I don't know what to do with like puter paper & disk.
My nite stand is not by the bed (no room) It contains STUFF like hair dryers.. & other STUFF I can't live without.
Another drawer has some photo albums .. bank stuff & more odds & ends.
Oh yes I do have a chest of drawers for stuff like clothes.
I am lucky I have plenty of drawers to keep stuff out of site & also 2 large closet for hanging clothes.
I have a small closet which I put the wire type racks in to make a pantry. My kitchen is open & it is in the hall so really part of the kitchen. I also have a nice bathroom closet which will even hold stuff like the vacuum cleaner.
I use baskets for paper stuff I want to keep or store till the spirit moves me to go through them before throwing out or shredding. I have one that is pretty large with a lid for important papers. It also is used kinda like an end table.

There are 100 apts in this building & some are not organized at all... not a pretty site at all.

As U can see I have lots of STUFF but most is out of site. I do have one LARGE problem area.. my desk area. It is in the living room as that's the only place I have for it. It takes up almost a whole wall. I live with it & anyone who comes in just has to ignore it.

I think I have adjusted very well to apt living & really like it.

My husband was in the navy for 30 yrs., so we decluttered every time we moved, which was often. You just have a yard sale or donate to thrift stores or give to friends and neighbors. When you get to the next place, simply look up your nearest thrift store and start again. Worked for us. Now that we are settled in one place, (house, greenhouse, honey house and 32 acres) I declutter once or twice a yr. and either give it away to a church thrift store near us or put stuff in the attic. When I die our kids can go thru it. Last laugh on them when they see that attic. Liz

Sugar, I am impressed with your Organized clutter! I live in an apartment as well, and I have every drawer with something in it. Mostly not organized. Each time I try to make a so called Organized "clutter drawer", it just becomes a junk drawer! lol!
I also live in Montgoemery, Al. Only been here a couple of years. I like it here just miss the kids. Hope to hear from you!
