I need a label maker. We are getting too big to continue handwriting labels (thousands per season - my most-hated job) so I need a better way.
Money is an issue - this is a pay-as-we-expand concern & we (so far) have done all of our upgrading from profits of the nursery but as usual on a farm (aka "money pit" ) every dollar has at least 5 different places clamoring for attention. So I'm looking for decent but "cheap" (absolute max $1500-$2000 for the machinery - is this even feasible?) solutions here.
So - what do you other nursery people use? Recommendations, contacts, websites welcome. I don't want to buy pre-made photo-tags, I'm looking at the flexible plastic/vinyl "pot tag" strips you can custom print in text in small batches.
I know they're out there, just not sure where to start seriously looking. Or if my price range is even realistic.
Any help most welcome.
