It's about that time again. The ice is out of the St Lawrence River and I'm getting the boat and tackle ready! There's a great camp on the NY shore, accross from Brockville Ontario (Jacques Cartier State Park) The river is a mile wide so it's not over pressured by tourists. If you're in the N.E., and have never been to the Thousand Islands, check it out.
Nice fish! Is it a giood sporting fish? Do you C & R them or are they edible?
We have an area in South Florida at the very tip of the mainland that is called the 10,000 Islands. They say the fishing is great if you can stand the mosquitoes
Great fish. OK, be honest. With the cost of the boat, the gas, cost of getting there and back, how much is that fish per pound? I know mine used to be very expensive.
