Here's a picture of one of the projects thats kept me from spending time on DG. Please excuse the clutter around the windmill, our jungle is a constant "Work-in-Progress". This windmill is something I've been wanting to build for some time. I found a 52' five blade ceiling fan that wasn't working (motor burned out), but still turned freely. The tower is built from 2x2" & 1x2" presure treated, and stands 12 feet tall. We did set it up on a base that will allow us to lay it on the ground and remove the head, in case of hurricanes.
