I have two very large holly ferns and would like to know how to grow more from these. Is there a way other than digging up and cutting the clump into pieces? The fronds have those funny looking things on the back of many of them. Are those seeds? If so, what is the best way to collect, store and germinate new plants?
These plants stand three feet tall and over three feet wide. There never have been any small plants coming up around the base of either one.
Thanks for any advice,
Louise
