Kabschia saxifrage season starting

Finally, the first saxifrages are opening. This is S. sancta 'Macedonica'

and Saxifraga media. The flowers are not open but they are rather boring...its the foliage and fuzzy wine-red stems that are the attractive feature of this plant.
