Here are a couple of my favorites:

Eve does great work and I love her series of Famous Artists' Cats. I have a print of Manet's Cats which is based on the painting by Manet entitled 'Olympia'. I had to have this print because I have two cats that look just like these two...only a lot fatter! I also love Van Gogh's Bad Cat. What a hoot! The idea that while the artist was taking a break, his cat ate the sunflowers he was painting. I could see my fur balls doing just that! In fact, that is why I no longer get roses for Valentine's Day nor have house plants!

On another plane is Jeannie Maddox. She charges $60k for a a painting. She is known all over the world. I am in awe of her. Her mother and my grandmother were sisters and she lives a few miles from me. I haven't gotten up enough nerve to go see her, though. I just don't feel like I am anywhere near her league. I'd feel like a tee ball player going to a major league ball player's house to talk about pitching...I'd be all tongue tied and embarassed.
