| Finally finished the large one.
I kept shoving it to the back burner until I realized I had the grout fixins sitting on the counter ( to remind me ) for way too long.
Its kinda pretty with the different patterns you get from turning her a little or as you walk past. Click the image for an enlarged view.

| It is beautiful Scoot! I love the different colors and different looks in different light. And the siamese pink twins are neat looking too! :) Isn't it a great feeling to get a project finished and out of your way? |

| Understatement ... heeeeee
For this type of project I would rather do smaller sizes like the pink one. Maybe next Winter.
It has been rainy and cold out since yesterday and forecasted to stay this way for most of the week.
Good thing is ... it is perfect weather for booting all the rest of the brugs and nanas out and to let Mother Nature harden them off.
Bad thing is the grass keeps on growing ;-(

| Remember my totem mosaic? The one I'm making for SIL? I won't live long enough to finish that one. I totally understand you not wanting to make another large piece lol!
Your grass is growing? I'm jealous. My grass is drying up cause we are so desperate for rain. The lawn has only been mowed once this year and that was just to trim it up a little. Racoons are busting in my back porch screen at night in search of water from the kitty bowl even though I'm keeping many bowls outside for the poor thirsty little guys. There must be a gazillion racoons.
Mindless, thoughtless, no conscience idiots are setting brush fires on purpose! UGH! I hope they get caught soon!!! Please do a rain dance for us! :( |

| Scoot, that was such a hoot when you posted that. We did get rain Friday, followed by road spit on Saturday while I was driving to College Station. |

| I've been hearing of some parts down your way getting plenty though.
It sure is a bummer tho when everyone around you gets rain while you remain parched ;-(
BTDT, happens a lot here .
We just put in some alfalfa and the field looks so nice and green almost like a golf course.
Sadly it will not still look that way come late Summer on this gravely glacier deposit area. |
