| This was a fun project. I mostly make lamp shades, so this was a great small project. I found that at JoAnn's Fabric they sale "copper wire" that in reality isn't copper at all; so I had to tag the ends w/foil in order to attach the beaded wire to the candle holder.

| Wow, so pretty and different.
Good job. I had no idea that JoAnn's sold stuff like this.
Sadly the Joann's around here have been going out of business.
Thanks for sharing

| Thats a beautiful candle holder and great use of scrap glass. All the beads and wires really make it stand out. Gotta pic of your lampshades ? |

| Thank you, the beaded wire stands away from the surround just a little bit.
Here's a lamp I made last month for a wedding gift..(they wanted something green)..but the wedding was called off one week before the ceremony. It found a new home! Click the image for an enlarged view.

| Love the lampshade. Abstract seems to fit my mentality more than repetition. Don't you enjoy using the wavy edges. I have a whole box of wavy edge pieces and a glass shelf of strips. Enjoy seeing your work, got more ???? Click the image for an enlarged view.

| That's Great!! love free-form too. This candle-holder has a 1/2 edge glass front, in order to let air into the candle, and on the top. I also have a stash of edge pieces destine to be box tops or lamp edges, they really add interest to a design. If I ever put my glass strips together I'll have a giant wind chime that'll be too big hang! But all scraps are kept "for something"; and they're pawed through looking for just the right color or texture. This was made from the scrap heap.
Show me more!

| Can't help myself ! It seems more like a collection of boxes than scrap glass storage. Never know when you may need just that little piece of scrap you threw away. Too small to foil ? put it on a piece of bisque ware and fire it. Click the image for an enlarged view.
