Xenomorf...I recently bought one of these Spotted Squill plants here in Austin. I looked it up on the Plant files and here you are! I'm wondering why the plant files do not include watering requirement GUIDELINES (I know watering is a tricky thing...), especially for houseplants. I know the SS is dormant in summer, so requires very little water, but what is very little? Can you help me with this before I kill it?
It's not my plant, but my estimation of 'very little water' would be to let the soil dry out completely between waterings. The roots are probably prone to rot. But I wouldn't rely completely on my guess about watering, I would recommend more research, or if someone else here in DG knows a more precise answer.
