I think this plant might be a different species, since Berlandiera lyrata usually has 8 ray flowers and glaucous leaves with deeply lobed margins. It seems to be in the Heliantheae tribe but I'm not sure which genus. Those wide involucral bracts look very much like Berlandiera though. Maybe a close relative?
