My kids and I just got done with the bird bath project. I think they turned out pretty cute. We just used clay pots and masaic tiles and glass gems to decorate. We got the idea from the current Birds & Blooms Extra magazine. My 7 year old son made the smaller one and My 9 year old daughter made the larger one.
Now we will fill them up and see if the birds will enjoy them as much as we enjoyed making them!
