I love that penstemon, Ally_UT. Actually I bought seeds of this penstemon bought forgot to start them. Guess it will have to wait til next year. I bet the hummers like that one.
The hummers are enjoying this and P. eatonii as well as the red flowered gilia right now. I enjoy watching them zip about the yard from one bloom to the other.
You'll probably have better germination results by waiting a year anyway. Alot of the dryland pents seem to do better after a year of dry storage.
I didn't know that about the dry storage. I believe I also have P. eatonii. Thanks for the info.
My little hummers should be arriving sometime this week or next. I don't have anything in bloom except for the fruit trees. Going to have to go & buy a big hanging fuchsia tomorrow.
