I'm still not able to upload new pics (old camera vs new puter) so I'll just use an old pic so a new thread can be started.
I've been trialing these painted glass flowers outside in the hot sun, humidity and rain.
1. The adhesives have held up wonderfully. Lexel, all GE Silicones and Liquid Nails Small Projects
2. Some of the frosted paints wrinkle with time for both Pebeo 150 and 160
All of the glossy colors for both Pebeo glass paints have withstood the elements beautifully.
Another great idea to display the flowers mounted on vases is to use the cheap little stem and stalk supports (peony-like supports, the black wire stakes with the circles at the top). You can find them at Home Depot and Lowes. They range from 79 cents to around $2.00 each
The little garden border fences that have points at the top edge make great displays too.
