This is the link to instructions posted on my home page for mosaic stepping stones. These are done by making the mosaic on the surface of a plain (& cheap) concrete stepping stone that you can buy at Home Depot or Wal Mart.
It's similar to the stepping stone link that gardendragon posted but that one is done with a mold and pouring the concrete over the mosaic. I haven't tried that yet ~
On the blue tool bar to the left there are links to pictures of some that my niece and I've made - along with birdbaths and other stuff.
