Hi All, I thought this would be the best place to ask.
I bought several ceramic containers that I wanted to do some highlighting on. Before I go to the craft store I was hoping someone here might be able to help. Is there a ceramic paint that I can use? Anyone who has some experience or knowledge I would be very grateful. TIA

Hi Vicki
Thank You so much. I really had no idea what I was going to be looking for. I just knew someone here should know. Now when I go to the craft store I will have some idea what I'm looking for. Then again I may just order from your store of recommendation.

Hi,

Being the cheapskate that I am, I often buy the mixing mistakes at Home Depot/Lowes that usually sell for 2 - 5 dollars per gallon. I've used both interior and exterior latex on outdoor projects & it lasts quite well. For sponging, ragging, etc. it's a cheap thrill. One can also water down the water based latex to use as color wash for concrete.

Hi Herpst, Welcome to DG.

I too , use a lot of the ooops paint from the big box stores. Problem is it's usually more than I need.
I hoard anything that has to do with the hobbies I am into, just in case I might need it ... ya know ? LOL

I use latex stains or paint cut 4 to 1 pts. paint for coloring my cement stuff .

Works real well if it is well cured and dry as a bone by applying thin coats so it can soak into the 'crete and not form a skin and peel off like straight paint will do.

TTYL,
shirley
