haighr: love the christening gown you made. Was desparately searching for pattern when I saw your gown - it is gorgeous!! I would love to try making is for my neice who has just arrived. Would you mind sharing the pattern with me - I would be so grateful.
To view the crocheted christening gown, go back to Needle Arts and scroll down until you find the "Crochet" thread. Click on that and go to February 20, 2006. There is a picture of a crocheted christening gown posted. I did find the pattern. I bought it last week at a Joann's. The pattern comes in a "Leisure Arts" booklet called Baby Layettes, Book 2. There are complete sets of layette patterns for both knit and crochet. The booklet is available for purchase on their website. The layette pictured on the cover is the knitted one, but the crocheted one is in the booklet also. The Web site is: http://www.leisurearts.com
