I purchased two of these last year through a catalog company. Spring Hill I believe. The plants came rather small but quite healthy. They were already begining to get their leaves. I'd say they were probably about 1 ft. tall just the one stem no branches but they grew rather quickly. Winter here in zone 8b is not too terribly cold. It gets down into the low 30's occassionaly. My weigela lost all of its leaves and is now back down to a twig. Any suggestions out there would be appreciated. I really love these plants and look forward to the hummers and butterflies they will bring, but how will they ever grow large if this keeps up ?
