About 8 years ago, I salvaged a juniper from Target. You know the ones, already in the pot with gravel glued to the top. I think I got it for $1.99 on closeout. Anyway, I have taken care of this tree, trimmed it (and I really don't know what I'm doing), had it oustide year round, and it's very healthy. I had to trim it about 3 or 4 times per year to keep it looking like I saw in the photos on the internet. So what was the mistake? I sprayed it with Messenger twice and Mighty Plant once, then Spray-N-Grow once. This thing is now so big I don't really know where to start trimming. Lesson learned here. Don't use that stuff on bonsai. |
