Greetings!

I just subscribed to Dave's Garden today. Have been a member for a number of years but just got around to subscribing.

I LOVE mosaics.

Some of you may know me by other names: KimmyStar or Southern Panache.

P.S. Attaching pics of last finished project.

See, this is the kind of wonderful work that just gets me all excited! (I haven't made my first mosaic piece yet, still figuring out how to break up plates.) Really nice things, thank you for sharing them.

Here are the lollipop lilies - all done but for grouting.

I posted these on MAO and they don't like them. Oh Well, I don't think they're horrible.

Horrible? Horrible? Are they nuts? If they don't like it then there is something wrong with them. Maybe they belong in the psych ward!! Nah just kidding. Keep up the good work!! I wish I had that much talent. My only talent in art is photography, black and white.

I am lucky!! I love taking b/w pics. Especially portraits. They are so dramatic. But I also wish I could do all the other stuff. I can get the vision in my head but can't put it on paper or what ever the medium is. Drives me nuts!!! LOL
