Well, it was a tough job, but we've finally made choices from among the many seed possibilities we have. For instance, we'll only be growing eight of the 18 tomato varieites currently on hand.
Anyway, here's what we'll be growing this year:
Tomatoes: German Pink, DePinto, Djena Lee; Black Krim, Old Flame, Grandma Brown, Riesentraube, and Fire.
Peppers: Sweet Apple, Boldogi, Horn of the Bull, Sinahuisa.
Eggplant: Applegreen, Turkish Orange.
Common Beans: Calypso, New Mexico Cave, Rio Zape, Dragon's Tongue, Snow Cap, Potato Patch.
Lima Beans: Hopi Yellow.
Garden Peas: Parsley, Dwarf Gray Sugar, Blue Pod Capucinjer.
Cowpeas: Roughe et Noir.
Lettuce and garden greens: Won't bother listing them all. There are 18 varieties, plus spinach and bok choy.
Cucurbits: Serendipy squash, Citron melon, Little White cukes.
Radish: Long Scarlet and Hailstone for spring/summer. Green meat and Shinrimei for winter.
Brassicas: Purple Vienna kohlrabi; Amber Globe turnips; Early Wakefield cabbage.
Misc: Kay Jones Okra; Mrs. Bee garden huckleberry; Chantenay Red Cored carrots.
Anybody else made their decisions yet?
