Happy Birthday Tammy! my epis opened last night and i wanted to post a bd pic, but pouring rain, o darn. they are going to re-open tonight and it's still pouring, o double darn. eat good food, drink good wine, play with good kitties and enjoy your good (great) garden today.

so how sad is this picture? 2 bloomed out epis hanging there like hound dog ears. no pictures of the flower. that's a pitcher plant in the middle.

that pitcher plant was a present from john. i read a little about them and figured it would die. it didn't. it just keeps making more pitchers. i guess at some point i need to re-pot. i have to bring it inside on the cold nights in winter, otherwise it stays in the cedar tree.
